Why we are getting points only when we are attacking the oponent. We could get points even when we win beeng attacked by the other, dont You think it would be fair? Now attaker does not risk to lose anything.

I definitely think this should be implemented in the future.

For now, though, I think it makes sense. Until we have a larger, more active member-base.

Anyone who has beefed up their defenses enough, would be able to sit back and not click in the Arena anymore.
Right now, it encourages everyone to use the Arena and click. Clicking, of course, being what will keep this website alive.

I should also note, a similar question was answered for me, by Admin.
Remember, there will never be logs to show who attacked you and how much you won/lost.
But, I still think an anonymous log would work.

Again, something for the future ;)

Exactly,
That way, if anyone attacks you, you could still earn points without doing anything but upgrading your defence. So basically you won't even have to touch the Arena and you may have chances to win the 1st prize!:sm23:
Definitely not.

Yes that could be a feature, but it'll change the whole structure as there are more things to consider like will the player attacked also risk coins or where would the coins go as giving it to the person attacked will be unfair too as you just upgraded your defence/dexterity and then watch coins roll in.
This'll also demote attacking in the Arena.
Anyway, it can be discussed with other players too to decide the best strategy that covers all the points.:wassat:

Anyone who has every tried a PvP MMORPG will tell you the biggest pain in the arse is the PvP aspect of the game.

It becomes complicated very quickly.
For example, I've not increased stats (well, I did now, lol, because I had to), when I logged in. I only had 3 targets. Not my usual targets, but new members. After a few rounds in the Arena, I realised, my old targets were not showing up. One of them is still on the leaderboard, stats still the same, so I know neither of us upgraded, yet, they were not showing up as a target anymore.
The new members, including you Edidzis :P have higher stats than me already.

Believe me...the Arena is going to become the bane of Admin's existence if we make things too complicated.
The old adage certainly applies. You will never please everyone, all the time. We might discuss and come to agreement, but everytime a new member joins, they will complain, we'll re-discuss, Admin will re-code, into oblivion.

I've always advocated to keeps things simple in PvP.

Sorry about making a new post under my own old post.
This is related, but not the exact same issue.

Arena Points....
Sooo...I got 4th place this month.
Where are my coins paid?
If they were paid into my hand....then they're already gone. All 40,000 coins. Edidzis, I know it was you ;)

Would Admin consider paying Arena Rewards into the Bank instead?
Or, hold the Reward until it gets claimed by the member, just in case Bank is full?

Thanks :)

Okay, the bank limit is in the server side, not the database of course, I've changed further rewards to addup in your bank, even if it get filled. Of course the users can't deposit more than maximum in the bank but we certainly can.:P

A small compensation for your loss is in your bank, do check it.;)
